Dude same, on my HP Intel I3 core laptop, the audio just doesn’t want to play, red x and all. If you just keep deleting them, eventually you will have fully deleted all of them. Press ‘Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer’, and then select ‘High Definition Audio Controller’. Could it be a bad update? About my Windows PC. Lost two hours on this already instead of actually focusing on work this is so annoying This is more of a hardware driver related issue. 7000 device drivers for that specific computer are then listed by priority needed based on OS and when that computer was built, aslo a full list is viewable by adjusting the settings.
For Dells, sometimes their drivers may not be the best, but they do work. Please be as specific as possible.
